Weft Neck Collar Making with Auger Sample




Material: Sport Wool 10129 (4 balls), 193, 300 (2 balls each)

Skewer No: 6

Knitting Pattern: Flat-reverse knitting, 4 reverse + 2 flat rubber knitting, auger sample




1- Start with 6 stitches with 193 color no. 4 rows of plain weave is made.
 2- The loops formed from the next row are applied on one side along the knitting diagram. 
3- Knit using the colors and cm shown in the diagram throughout the knitting. 
4- After the formation of the braid, 2 stitch increase is made on the back side of the twisted side along the braid, while 4 + 2 rubber braid is applied to the remaining stitches
5- 2 stitches with 2 rows spacing for 15 cm, 2 stitches with 5 cm spacing from the next row, knitted and finished at 100 cm length. 
6- When one more piece is knitted from the same part, the side of the braid is applied on the left side of the front body and on the right side of the back body. 
7- The two completed pieces are sewn from the 10 cm each of the shoulders.

NECK: 10129 color no. 96 stitches are started. Loops; * 2 straight, 4 reverse, 6 straight * are aligned by repeating. 6 the flat knitted loops are diagrammed along the mesh. Collar length is 30 cm knitted and finished. The completed weft neck is sewn around the collar.
